The project has to do with six country apartments designed in two distinct building complexes in the village of Kallithea on Ellespontou Street, on a land plot covering an area of 285m2. The plot is located very near the center of the village and five minutes’ walk from the beach of Kallithea, which is one of the most beautiful beaches in Halkidiki.

The six apartments have been designed in two separate buildings which are linked together by a covered bridge on the upper floor. The largest of the two buildings, building 1, accommodates four properties, two on the ground floor and two on the upper floor and the attic, while the smaller, building 2, two properties, one on the ground floor and one on the upper floor and the attic, with a similar configuration.
The ground floor apartments have a covered outdoor sitting room in front, while the apartments on the upper floor / attic have balconies in every level. At the rear of the ground floor is a communal pool with an area for deck loungers.

The single level apartments on the ground floor are respectively ca. 30m² each and they consist of a sitting room with dining area and kitchenette, one bedroom and a bathroom. All three ground floor apartments have pergolas and sitting room in front and pergola on the back. In the intermediate open space, there is a staircase adjacent to the building 2 and leads to the bridge and to the floor.
Upstairs, there have been designed three other apartments of ca. 50m² which are developed on two levels, on the first floor and the attic through the roof. The three apartments on the upper floors have a sitting room, a kitchenette, a dining area, a bathroom and a double height bedroom. In the attic, each property has one bedroom and one bathroom.

The materials used in the project are simple and durable, since the detached houses are near the sea and humidity will test them over time. We used durable white coating, impregnated decorative wood, glass and aluminium, which have supported our synthetic options.
Internally large marbles have been used on the floors of the ground floor, and on those on the other floor wide oak floor boards, in their natural colour and in great lengths.
