An oil press company located in Kamares, near Aigio in northern Peloponnese required an addition to their existing building to house their offices and an area to promote and exhibit their products.
The design of the addition expanded on the existing building’s architecture for consistancy with the new building. The two buildings were connected with a metal roof structure. Stone was proposed for the exterior along the walls of the ground level exhibition area.
The interior design attempted a balance between tradition and modern design aesthetic. The cement screed floor is complemented by the wooden ceiling and visible metal beams and the wooden furniture with dark non wooden parts. The walls are white making the whole interior colour palette consist of black, grey, white and the colour of wood.
