VILLA MENDI In Sani Halkidiki GREECE

The site is situated in the seaside of Sani village in Chalkidiki.
The house is formed from two main volumes placed one on the top of the other and oriented to the spectacular view to the sea. The basic volume is modified so as to serve the design criteria, while, the upper volume, containing the master bedroom, is kept simple. It is actually designed to ‘frame’ the view. Pergolas and structural elements wrap around to create the elevations, balconies and external sitting spaces. The interior design is organized by dividing the plan in two areas, the private and the communal, while the entrance is in the middle. The ground floor contains the living-room, the kitchen and two bedrooms, while the upper floor serves exclusively for the master bedroom.
