298 monolithic stone volumes, which incerase their height, forming an inclined surface, compose the memorial structure. One monolith for each person lost. Between them there is a grid of narrow paths, that lead to a central glade, which is shaped like the imprint of the airplane as it appeared on the radar. The memorial is surrounded by a park that overlooks the river and the city beyond, consisting a place to value life, forgive and forget, in comparison to the memorial, which is the place of remembrance and introspection.
