The European Patent Office by Atelier Jean Nouvel (Paris) and Dam & Partners Architecten (Amsterdam)
The new office building for EPO is a structure that seems to combine the sky in its design.
With a curtain wall that literally floats, apart from the reflection of the skylight, the body emerges from a landscape formed in water.
The open plan strategy that offers plenty of light in the interior combined with the natural materials of wood and planting are elements whose goal is to provide a comfort and pleasant working environment for the employers.
The pop of color from the flags in the entrance and the ceiling of the lobby give a fresh look.

While the old building has suffered from natural aging due to harsh winters and other factors, the new structure will try to meet the new needs while its design places a strong focus on sustainability.
We strongly believe it is an impressing project with an ethereal feeling, despite its great high.
We will see the results in 2017.
