Light is a motif that continues throughout the site: a previously dim staircase has been transformed into a central entry and flooded with light, and hand-made crystal chandeliers illuminate the downstairs dining areas. Traditional Middle-Eastern materials such as copper, plaster-work and wood ( from Artwood ) clad the walls, recalling the beauty and detail of the region’s design and craftsmanship.
The re-design of Mamounia Lounge needed to retain the elements that appealed to its established customer base, while re-positioning the venue to attract new guests. Aedas Interiors have used a blend of traditional and modern design features to achieve this balance and create an inviting, evocative dining experience.
