This brand new gem of a house is located on Yen Akat Road in Bangkok, Thailand. It boasts 500 m² of usable internal space situated on 560 m² of private land, fulfilling the client’s wish for a modern home with sun shades, rain protection and a lot of greenery. To enhance the garden and the usable area, architect Ayutt Mahasom decided to cantilever practically half of the house over the ground floor area. He also designed the building in an L-shape, with one wall of the house close to an adjacent plot of land.

It is worth noting that the modern style of the house is highlighted by the customized Silver Aluminum Extrusion Strips. Installed vertically on the walls of the master bedroom and the master bathroom, they make the place look like a silver box floating on a black granite sheet below. They also serve as air buffer insulation to cool down the main bedroom space.
