prioritizing the dramatic drop-off and incline of the site, the architects adopted the original profile of the hill in the shape of the domestic volume and enclosed the triangular space with two thick lateral walls. aside from providing privacy, the walls also create a continuous interior-to-exterior space in form of a terrace with a minimalist low waterscape. the use of concrete lends visual weight to the form and departs with the surrounding texture of the greenery, all the while connecting to the mass of the mountain.
