In the southern part of the community of Kallithea, Halkidiki, resides the site of which eight properties were designed in three separate buildings, containing a ground floor, first floor and loft. Each one of the four ground floor apartments constitutes a separate property and so do the ones on the upper floor. They all have living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, and regarding to the apartments of the upper floor, there is a staircase leading to the loft where two more bedrooms and a bathroom have been designed.
The complex is characterized by a distinct architecture that differentiates it from its surroundings. The pergolas of the front and the rear side of the buildings are constructed lower than the floor height “creating” two volumes. The roofs of the three buildings are inclined and their recesses create the “hidden” verandas of the first floor. The walls of the upper volume, enclosing the first floor and the loft, are inclined regarding the verticality of the building. The colors of the complex are white and anthracite grey. All the other colors are given by construction materials, the wood on the louvres and the glass on the openings and the balcony parapets.
